Last week I started the weekly section of my blog entitled "Facts of Lyfe: Fashion".
This week, after receiving much acclaim from the first installment, I've decided to continue the trend, but this time I'm taking you to school. Literally.
This week it's facts about Hampton Universtiy....fashion, language, and recreation.
You ready?
Let's do it.
HU FASHION:
Fact: The official uniform for HU Women is uber big shirts, leg-ins, and....equestrian boots?
Fact: Hampton University is the only place that guys can wear messenger bags and not be homo.
Fact: Pink is not a color on HU's campus. It is an aphrodisiac.
Fact: At Hampton, Loafers x Jeans = Chic. Outside of Hampton, Loafers x Jeans = DAD!
Fact: It is university policy to own at least one piece of Blac Label clothing.
Fact: Every student at HU will aspire to start their own clothing line at some point in time during their collegiate career.
Fact: H&M ROCKS YOUR SOCKS!
Fact: RalphLauren kicks Hilfiger's ASS!
Fact: Some HU guys disagree w the previous statement
Fact: HU guys HAVE THAT ARGUMENT! WTF!
HU LANGUAGE:
Fact: "YEROOOO!!" did not originate on Hampton's campus, contradicting popular belief
Fact: The bird call is the only acceptable mode of greeting.
Fact: "DONT MATTA!" is a term of endearment and survival lol.
Fact: "the Legion" is not the actual name of the building.
Fact: A large number of students do not know the difference between the Harbors and Harbor Square.
Fact: Without 5-5-5, I would have died.
HU Recreation:
Fact: HU Women, if you wake up on saturday morning at your "big brother's house", he probably not your big bro nemore.
Fact: Sometimes, 12-2 is more fun than any party you will ever go to that weekend or in LYFE!
Fact: A 3 hour drive to and from Love Nightclub on Saturday night is worth the DRIVE! [some say]
Fact: There is no excuse for NOT wearing pajamas to a PAJAMA PARTY!
